The Hotel Posta was subject to complete renovation works and refurbishment of the attic. The building includes a bistro on the ground floor and rooms on the upper floors. The work remained true to the original project, as it is one of the first works realised by the well known Architect Giuseppe Terragni: In particular, the marble staircase was preserved. In the basement, a reinforced concrete structure was created - designed to host warehouses, refrigerators, staff changing rooms and bathrooms - using the White Tank System method, which is characterized by injecting resin between the cast joints to make the premises completely waterproof, in order to counteract the underlying thrust of the lake. The structure was adapted to the fire regulations using intumescent plaster. On the top floor, the recovery of the attic allowed to obtain two mini-suites of approximately sixty square meters each.
