The Hotel ME Milan Il Duca was subject to extraordinary maintenance work for the renovation of the one hundred and thirty-nine rooms, with the creation of the restaurant, rooftop bar, gym and meeting rooms. The project involved the complete reconstruction of the existing spaces, the electrical and mechanical systems, all designed to meet the new standards of energy efficiency and safety. The use of fine materials - marble, panelling and high-quality wall coverings - made it possible to reach a high level that can classify it as a five-star luxury hotel. Particular attention was paid to acoustic insulation, with the use of multilayer suspended ceilings. The décor of the hall includes a spiral staircase in Seminato alla Veneziana and wooden furniture of particular workmanship. The upstairs is made up of a panoramic top floor - Radio rooftop Bar - with a large terrace overlooking the new skyline of Milan of the Porta Nuova Garibaldi area. The façades designed by the Architect Aldo Rossi were kept. The site - started in April 2014 - was unveiled on 1st May 2015, with short deadlines for delivery to the Customer.
